“As President of a Las Vegas based boutique public relations firm working with limited staff and resources, I have found PR Newswire to be an extremely valuable tool in branding and marketing my clients. Representing small businesses and not-for-profit organizations with restrictive budgets (especially in the current economic climate), PR Newswire’s distribution services allows for what I note as the 4Es: the most efficient, effective and economical means of Exposure. Exposure that spans the nation and beyond! In addition to the traditional media pick-up, there are hundreds of TOP internet news rooms which post PR Newswire releases “word-for-word.” The internet news room postings have a two-fold effect: increasing the opportunity for media, businesses and consumers from across the globe to read the release, as well as enhancing the internet Search Engine Optimization (SEO) of the client and its product/service.”

Nelson Enterprise Technology Services (NETS), is a successful and growing small business specializing in IT infrastructure, systems engineering, and network solutions. NETS officially announced today its award of a contract to plan, implement, and support the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA)'s anticipated migration of its legacy ActivID card management system (CMS) to another PKI hosted management environment. NETS leveraged their close relationship with ActivIdentity, a leading CMS provider, to bring additional niche capabilities to the VA and facilitate the smooth transition to Entrust's SPP PKI solution. In addition to overall management of the effort as Prime, NETS will configure, test, cut-over, and triage the migration to minimize negative impact to the software, hardware, and systems that support the VA's 230 locations nationwide.

This task complements the work NETS is already performing for the VA in designing, developing, and deploying a world-class optical network to support the VA's anticipated growth in communications requirements across three of its core business units, as well as assisting the VA with migrating from IPv4 to IPv6 by 2014.  The VA operates one of the largest IT infrastructures in the world that provides essential services and support to over 500,000 American service veterans and their families.  As a registered Service Disabled Veteran Owned and Minority Owned Small Business, NETS is proud to support the VA with cost-effective, robust, and flexible solutions that meet current and evolving requirements and optimize future success.
