“As President of a Las Vegas based boutique public relations firm working with limited staff and resources, I have found PR Newswire to be an extremely valuable tool in branding and marketing my clients. Representing small businesses and not-for-profit organizations with restrictive budgets (especially in the current economic climate), PR Newswire’s distribution services allows for what I note as the 4Es: the most efficient, effective and economical means of Exposure. Exposure that spans the nation and beyond! In addition to the traditional media pick-up, there are hundreds of TOP internet news rooms which post PR Newswire releases “word-for-word.” The internet news room postings have a two-fold effect: increasing the opportunity for media, businesses and consumers from across the globe to read the release, as well as enhancing the internet Search Engine Optimization (SEO) of the client and its product/service.”

Stevie Awards Recognize Conversation's Kristen Link as Finalist
Agency's Director of Client Services in running for "Female Executive of the Year."
NEW YORK, Oct. 17, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Kristen Link, Director of Client Services at Conversation, has been named as a finalist for "Female Executive of the Year" in the "Business Services" category at the 2012 Stevie Awards for Women in Business. The award honors women executives, entrepreneurs and the "companies that they run."
"It's definitely humbling to have your hard work acknowledged," said Kristen. "I owe much of this recognition to the entire Conversation team. Providing clients with the best possible results is paramount and working together internally is a huge part of that."
Among the notable client projects that Link spearheaded between 2011 and 2012 were dressbarn's "Pink Pledge" and "Share Your (MOM)ent" campaigns, North Shore-LIJ Healthcare System's "Omnibus" and SUNY Plattsburgh's Fall and Spring student recruitment campaigns. Each respective campaign won multiple awards. Under Link's leadership, the "Pink Pledge" campaign encouraged over 6,000 women to dedicate themselves to living a healthy lifestyle while "Share Your (MOM)ent," a site that encouraged users to enter stories about the motherly figures in their lives, received 942 total entries over an 18-day period. The "Omnibus" campaign delivered over 84,000 impressions while achieving and in-banner interaction rate of 10.03 percent, far exceeding the industry average of 1.72 percent. Conversation's SUNY Plattsburgh campaign, which integrated SEM, online display ads, landing pages and radio spots, led to an overall increase in applications for targeted majors.
"Kristen continues to display an uncanny ability to lead and provide mentorship to her colleagues," said Conversation's Founder, Frank O'Brien. "During her tenure at the agency, our client roster has grown exponentially to include more national brands and our team has multiplied. I have no doubt that her best work is yet to come."
Winners of the award will be announced at the 2012 awards dinner on November 9.
