“As President of a Las Vegas based boutique public relations firm working with limited staff and resources, I have found PR Newswire to be an extremely valuable tool in branding and marketing my clients. Representing small businesses and not-for-profit organizations with restrictive budgets (especially in the current economic climate), PR Newswire’s distribution services allows for what I note as the 4Es: the most efficient, effective and economical means of Exposure. Exposure that spans the nation and beyond! In addition to the traditional media pick-up, there are hundreds of TOP internet news rooms which post PR Newswire releases “word-for-word.” The internet news room postings have a two-fold effect: increasing the opportunity for media, businesses and consumers from across the globe to read the release, as well as enhancing the internet Search Engine Optimization (SEO) of the client and its product/service.”

A Lego Workshop At The Enterprise Center? You Bet.
Unique two-hour sessions keep business owners up to date
SALEM, Mass., Aug. 29, 2012 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- A Lego® workshop is perhaps the most unusual, but hardly the only innovative program on the fall schedule of the Enterprise Center. There are also workshops planned on crowd funding, authority marketing and emotional intelligence, along with finance, sales, HR and other "bread and butter" business topics. You can see the complete schedule and register online at www.enterprisectr.org.
The Enterprise Center has become known for the diversity of its programs, which also include targeted offerings for non-profits, young entrepreneurs and those seeking venture capital. Not surprisingly, the Center draws attendees from across the state and Southern New Hampshire as well as the North Shore. As COO Laura Swanson says, "Where else can you get a quick take on the latest business trends or an overview of an unfamiliar subject in just two hours? Who else offers CEO support groups and mentoring?"
The new fall line up begins on September 11th with Your Business Plan Soup to Nuts, a perennial favorite that is also being offered for the first time in Spanish on Thursday, October 18th. Two other firsts: The Baby Boomer Transition Series comprises three evening sessions for those soon to make the shift from their current mind and place into the next chapter of their life. RUN—Ramp Up Now—responds to the request from businesses with less than $1 million in annual revenues for a yearlong program like Enterprise Center Accelerator Program for larger companies.
"Many people think the Enterprise Center is just for start-ups," commented Christine Sullivan, the Center's CEO. "Not so. What we call our Next Level Initiatives are some of the meatiest and most popular programs we offer, and they're specifically for CEOs who have a thriving business and are looking for support as they grow."
Most workshops are free, and many are co-sponsored by the Small Business Development Center, which is located right in the Enterprise Center.
Now, about that Lego workshop. It's scheduled for Tuesday, December 4th at 8:30. You can register or learn more about it and other programs of the Enterprise Center at Salem State University at www.enterprisectr.org. Unless otherwise indicated, all workshops are held at the Enterprise Center on the Salem State Central Campus and run from 8:30 to 10:30 am.
The Enterprise Center arms business owners with the knowledge and skills to start their business, grow, and succeed. We are located at 121 Loring Avenue, Salem, MA 01970. Phone 978-542-7528, www.enterprisectr.org.
