“As President of a Las Vegas based boutique public relations firm working with limited staff and resources, I have found PR Newswire to be an extremely valuable tool in branding and marketing my clients. Representing small businesses and not-for-profit organizations with restrictive budgets (especially in the current economic climate), PR Newswire’s distribution services allows for what I note as the 4Es: the most efficient, effective and economical means of Exposure. Exposure that spans the nation and beyond! In addition to the traditional media pick-up, there are hundreds of TOP internet news rooms which post PR Newswire releases “word-for-word.” The internet news room postings have a two-fold effect: increasing the opportunity for media, businesses and consumers from across the globe to read the release, as well as enhancing the internet Search Engine Optimization (SEO) of the client and its product/service.”

WASHINGTON, Aug. 17, 2012 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Have you considered starting or growing your business? Are you wondering which strategies will lead you to success? The U.S. Small Business Administration's August web chat will highlight practical tips to help stir your business passion.

WHOMartha Ross-Rodgers, co-owner of Rodgers' Banana Pudding Sauce, will host the August web chat on "Growing Your Business Passion."  Ross-Rodgers will answer questions about how the love for a nostalgic dessert turned into a booming family-owned business, the trials and triumphs of financing and promoting their product, and what they have done to build on their business success.  The business was one of SBA's video contest winners for National Small Business Week 2012.

WHAT:  SBA's web chat series provides small business owners with an opportunity to discuss relevant business issues online with experts, industry leaders and successful entrepreneurs.  Chat participants have direct, real-time access to the web chats via questions they submit online in advance and during the live session.  Participants will gain valuable information on how to light their business passion.

WHEN:  August 23 at 1:00 p.m. (ET)
Ross-Rodgers will answer questions for one hour.
